Assist in the recruitment and selection procedure, having regard for current legislation and the equal opportunities policies.
2. Contribute in project work, research and the development of HR policies and procedures.
3. Develop and maintain systems and processes to maintain the Relief and Voluntary Worker database.
4. Provide a service to the HR OD Director and Managers in secretarial duties.
5 Ensure that the HR website for vacancies is continuously updated, and all vacancies are posted on Friday of each week.
6. Assist in collection of documents such as CRB, Work Permits, references and Medical Clearances etc, for applicants.
7. Ensure that the HR Database, HR Shared Drive and Intranet are kept up to date and regularly check that members of the team are posting in the correct sections. PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
Qualifications
• Graduate or equivalent with CPP and studying for professional Qualification
Knowledge • Knowledge of the Not for Profit Sector • Knowledge of Office procedures • Understanding of and commitment to Equal Opportunities and Diversity
Experience
• Minimum of one year of working in HR • Understanding of Recruitment process • Experience of using HR Database • Experience of using Internet and Intranet • Experience of minute taking and report writing • Experience of preparing statistical reports using IT equipment
